At Mount Carmel Supported Care Home we strive to provide a quality service to all our residents and clients. If you are in any way dissatisfied with our service there is a full complaints procedure in place. It is the Board of Management’s policy to welcome complaints or concerns and to look upon them as an opportunity to learn, adapt and improve our service.

All staff are trained in handling complaints. Residents and families are advised of the Complaints policy on admission and a copy is on display at the main entrance.

As of May 5th 2021 Mount Carmel has implemented the revised guidelines for visiting Mount Carmel and the Guidelines for returning to the community. As part of the infection control measures and as part of the national guidelines we have to limit it to 4 visits per resident per week and the visit can consist of 2 people.. We would ask all visitors to complete and sign the Covid-19 visitor’s questionnaire prior to their visit. This questionnaire can be found at
